Today I discover some big mistakes in the new Lonely Planet Guide of Nepal (e-book and printed version in Italian and English), I have been so sorry.
They have written that the permits for Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa has been reduced to 100USD from the original 500USD after the 2015 April earthquake. Unfortunately these are all mistakes, Nepali Government has never reduced these two permits, and they are always 500USd for all those trekkers in the area passing Kagbeni on the way to Lo Manthang in Uper Mustang or from Juphal on the way to Upper Dolpa. You can check the official web site of the nepali government to see the real prices of these permits.
I hope Lonely Planet will correct soon not to put in difficulties all the trekkers who will be in these two regions.
